VIDEO: Mad-Cap Comedy "Clue" Keeps You Guessing

It's a whodunit of hilarity: the stage mystery "Clue" is now playing at Paper Mill Playhouse. Based on the '80s movie and inspired by the classic board game, this killer comedy has all your favorite characters: Mrs. White, Colonel Mustard, and the whole suspicious gang. Join Jesse and Dave in Millburn to talk to the suspects — err — stars of this campy show.

Rock On! This Week's Sound Bites...2/10/22

“Bucky and I did an album, basically to sell at the concerts; it was kind of a good way for Bucky to learn the show and get acquainted with all of those songs,” explained Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers as he talked about moving on after the passing of Bobby Hatfield, his friend and now stage partner Bucky Heard, movie placements and their current tour which sees them stopping at Parx Casino in Bensalem, PA and State Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ. That is really what the album is, it is all of our old songs. I did a duet with Van Morrison on his new album and I get called quite a bit to do a duet or this and that and if I like the song, I’ll do it; I’m 81 so, I’m not holding my breath waiting to record. I feel very blessed that I’m able to still come out on the road and perform so, I feel like I’m way ahead of the game.”

Despite being thousands of miles apart, technology keeps the messages coming – to the point where viewers feel her frustration.
A look at "Joey Skaggs: Fish Condos"

Joey Skaggs: Fish Condos by Judy Drosd and Joey Skaggs is a wonderful film that is the fifth in a series called “Joey Skaggs: Satire and Art Activism, 1960s to the Present and Beyond.” The film details how Skaggs got the idea to spice up fish aquariums with the use of doll furniture. He originally did it as a satire on the world-turning condo, but the public loved them and they soon became a viable revenue source for the artist.

Joey Skaggs: Fish Condos is a short documentary film directed by Judy Drosd and Joey Skaggs [himself] and will be showing at the New Jersey Film Festival on Friday, February 11th, 2022. Fish Condos [to shorten the name for the purposes of our personal use] is the fifth film in an ongoing series titled Joey Skaggs: Satire and Art Activism, 1960s to the Present and Beyond. The series, which documents the art and life of [Mr.] Skaggs, seems to be a series of instructional videos for budding artists to learn how to master the art of creation.

Our Favorite Stories In Art - Art Against Racism

New Jersey Stage published its 25,000th story in December 2021. As the site approached the milestone, we posed the question on social media as how we should celebrate.  One response was to highlight our favorite stories from over the years.  We liked this idea, but could not narrow things down to just 25 favorites so we will present a favorite each day from different genres. Today is a look at art and the interview we had with Rhinold L. Ponder on Art Against Racism.
