Our Favorite Stories In Art - Art Against Racism

originally published: 02/10/2022

New Jersey Stage published its 25,000th story in December 2021. As the site approached the milestone, we posed the question on social media as how we should celebrate.  One response was to highlight our favorite stories from over the years.  We liked this idea, but could not narrow things down to just 25 favorites so we will present a favorite each day from different genres. Today is a look at art and the interview we had with Rhinold L. Ponder on Art Against Racism.

The interview was published on September 22, 2020 and is available here. In the interview, Ponder tells us about the origins of the Art Against Racism organization and the Memorial. Monument. Movement - a nationwide virtual exhibition created in response to the artworks protesting police violence against Black lives which emerged all over the world after the murder of George Floyd.
