
(DEAL PARK, NJ) -- Remember Jones will celebrate the sound of Meat Loaf and the music of Jim Steinman with three performances of Bat Out of Hell Live at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center from April 29 to May 1. Remember Jones will perform the entire classic album from 1977 and more with a 12-piece band and special guests that include Max Weinberg and Low Cut Connie.
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame drummer Max Weinberg from the E-Street Band, who recorded most of the Bat Out of Hell, will perform 7 songs from the album. The show will also feature Jim Steinman songs from other Meat Loaf albums, guest vocalists and musicians, and other featured artists to be announced.
One of the featured guests announced so far is Low Cut Connie (solo) who has earned praise for high-energy live performances, which Los Angeles Weekly described as "unmatched in all of rock right now." NPR Music describes his performances as “masterfully fluent in the foundational languages of Western pop.” Low Cut Connie (Adam Weiner) has also gained notoriety for attracting high-profile endorsements such as a surprise inclusion on Barack Obama’s Spotify Summer Playlist in 2015, and a personal association with Elton John, who has called the band one of his favorites.
Performances take place Friday, April 29 at 8:00pm; Saturday, April 30 at 8:00pm; and Sunday, May 1 at 7:00pm. Tickets range from $48 - $78 and are available for purchase online. A a special, limited VIP ticket available for $112. The VIP ticket will include admission to a post-show reception and curated interview with Weinberg and Jones as they discuss never before told stories of the Bat Out of Hell studio sessions and more. Proof of ID and vaccination required for entry.

Axelrod Performing Arts Center is located at 100 Grant Avenue in Deal Park, New Jersey. The venue produces its own professionally staged musicals and ballets for the Jersey Shore in collaboration with Broadway directors, choreographers, and designers, showcasing professional actors, dancers and singers.
