(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County Library Upper Shores Branch is showcasing local artist Linda Hejduk's "Watercolors & Acrylics of the Jersey Shore" throughout February. Linda's works have appeared at venues in New England, New York, and New Jersey, as well as in many popular Jersey Shore publications.

Her art has graced hardcover books, magazines, calendars, prints, notecards, and a jigsaw puzzle featuring the historic Glimmer Glass drawbridge that connects Brielle and Manasquan.

The Mantoloking resident earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art, and enjoyed a successful career in graphics, illustration and design in New York City.

She maintains memberships in the Manasquan River Group of Artists, New Jersey Chapter of American Artists Professional League, and New York City-based Audubon Artists Inc.

For hours of operation and more information, stop by the Branch, 112 Jersey City Avenue, Lavallette, call 732-793-3996, or visit www.theoceancountylibrary.org.
