On Thursday, July 4, 2024, moe. will be returning to the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. Joining them will be summer tour collaborators, Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country and Neighbor. To celebrate the return of moe. for the 50th anniversary of the Stone Pony, I was able to catch up with Jim Loughlin (percussionist/Swiss army knife) and relive the glory days of past performances at the Jersey Shore while discussing the current state of the band.

English Opera "Dido and Aeneas" to be performed in Morristown

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- On Saturday, May 4, 2024 at St. Mary's Abbey of Morristown, a musical merger between the Somerset Hills Chorus of Music in the Somerset Hills (MISH) and the Trenton-based LOTUS Chorale is bound to generate an electric performance of Henry Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, one of the first English operas ever written. Showtime is 7:00pm.

The New Jersey Clearwater Festival to Return to Asbury Park Labor Day Weekend

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Friends of Clearwater (NJFC) has announced that they are returning to Asbury Park on Labor Day Weekend August 31 and September 1, 2024 for their 49th Annual NJ Clearwater Festival. The celebration of the environment with music, song and information about how to protect it is the state's largest eco-festival. Hours are 1:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday and 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday.
