(CAMDEN, NJ) -- On February 29, Philadelphia public radio station WXPN announced that nine artists have been added to the lineup of its 2024 XPoNential Music Festival presented by Subaru: The Walkmen, Pete Yorn, Jade Bird, George Porter Jr. & Runnin' Pardners, Brigitte Calls Me Baby, Florry, Velvet Rouge, Mostapha Noumbissi and Carla Gamble. They join the eight previously announced artists performing September 20-22 at Wiggins Park on the Camden waterfront, directly across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. More artists and the daily lineup will be announced soon.

Since 2020, Story & Verse has provided a warm and welcoming spotlight for both emerging and established artists in the ACP's Solley Theater, an intimate space in the heart of Downtown Princeton. The next event takes place on March 21st.

The season includes their annual Hispanic Play Festival (June 2024), Angels in America (October 2024), Disney's Beauty and the Beast (December 2024), Jesus Christ Superstar (February 2025), and Legally Blonde, the Musical (May 2025). Submissions must be received by email or by physical mail by March 11, 2024.

Described as being "as close to being a rock band as a chamber orchestra can be," by The New York Times, Alarm Will Sound performs music by Steve Reich in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Music for 18 Musicians. (WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- The Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music will produce a gospel music competition called Move on Up aimed at celebrating gospel choirs and praise teams, and presenting prize money to the winning ensembles. Church and community choirs and praise teams from Asbury Park and Newark can submit representative music to a team of judges who will then select six entries to participate in a "sing-off" to determine the winner. Video submissions will begin on March 1 and ends at 6:00pm on April 1, 2024.

"Last year it was 35 years ago when Whitesnake headlined the legendary Donington Festival in England. So, we thought it would be a good thing to celebrate that anniversary and do a "My Whitesnake Years" tour and when we were done, people from all over the world began asking if we'd be willing to do a run here or there and we went to Scandinavia, Spain and there is actually more stuff in the pipeline for next year also and of course now to the United States and it has been a lot of fun so far."
