(NEWARK, NJ) -- GlassRoots, Newark's 23-year-old nonprofit glass art institution, is thrilled to announce its move and expansion in 2025 to a new space at 23 William Street in RBH Group's Teachers Village community. This state-of-the-art ground-level location will house GlassRoots' offices, glassmaking studios, classrooms, and event spaces, providing greater access and visibility to the general public. Twice the size of the organization's current space in Newark's Downtown District, GlassRoots' new home will position Newark's premier glass art center as an anchor of the City's Arts and Education District and an engaging cultural institution for an evolving neighborhood.

Dave will speak about his approaches to abstract photography in Abbott Marshlands in anticipation of the 2024 Voices of the Marsh Photography Exhibition to be held this fall. Topics will include The Concept of Abstract Photography, and how it relates to: In-Camera techniques, Computer-based applications and effects, and iPhone-based applications. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. "Last year it was 35 years ago when Whitesnake headlined the legendary Donington Festival in England. So, we thought it would be a good thing to celebrate that anniversary and do a "My Whitesnake Years" tour and when we were done, people from all over the world began asking if we'd be willing to do a run here or there and we went to Scandinavia, Spain and there is actually more stuff in the pipeline for next year also and of course now to the United States and it has been a lot of fun so far."
