Prudential Center presents Kevin Hart as part of North to Shore Festival

(NEWARK, NJ) -- As part of the North to Shore festival sponsored by Prudential, Kevin Hart, one of the biggest names in comedy, will perform at the Prudential Center on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Showtime is 7:00pm.

Plainfield Symphony presents "Journey Through the Night"

(PLAINFIELD, NJ) -- The climax of the 104th season of the Plainfield Symphony will be "Journey Through the Night" on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church in Plainfield. The concert features Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 7 in E minor; perhaps, the least performed of his symphonies but one of pure genius. The performance will be preceded by Charles Prince's "Chat with Charles," where he will share his passion and personal insights into this work. Showtime is 7:00pm.



Toby Lightman to Celebrate 20th Anniversary of "Little Things" with special Livestream Performance

This month marks 20 years since the release of "Little Things" by Toby Lightman and she's celebrating with a special online performance on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 8:00pm live on Facebook and Instagram. She will perform the album from front to back and talk about the writing and recording process.

New Jersey Symphony Presents Star Wars - Return of the Jedi in Concert

(NEWARK, NJ) -- The New Jersey Symphony will present Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in Concert with composer John Williams’ venerated score performed live to the film. Conductor Nicholas Hersh will lead New Jersey Symphony in all four performances: Mayo Performing Arts Center (April 4th), Count Basie Center for the Arts (April 5th), State Theatre New Jersey (April 6th), and New Jersey Performing Arts Center (April 7th).

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Swedish street magicians and illusionists Peter Brynolf and Jonas Ljung achieved the impossible by stumping the legendary Penn & Teller on the first season of their long-running television show, "Penn & Teller: Fool Us!" Now Penn & Teller return the favor by producing Brynolf & Ljung in their New York theatrical debut, Stalker, which combines street magic, stunning illusions and physical mentalism, leaving audiences both thrilled and mystified. MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

"Last year it was 35 years ago when Whitesnake headlined the legendary Donington Festival in England. So, we thought it would be a good thing to celebrate that anniversary and do a "My Whitesnake Years" tour and when we were done, people from all over the world began asking if we'd be willing to do a run here or there and we went to Scandinavia, Spain and there is actually more stuff in the pipeline for next year also and of course now to the United States and it has been a lot of fun so far."
