Danú Ensemble to Take New Jersey Audiences on a Musical Journey to Their Native Ireland

Hailing from the counties Waterford, Cork, Dublin, and Donegal in Ireland, Danú is one of today's leading traditional Irish music bands to traverse the global stage, playing standing room only concerts. For nearly 30 years, the ensemble has hosted high-energy performances around the world and has recorded ten critically acclaimed albums. Danú will take audiences on a memorable and moving musical journey to their native Ireland, performing a glorious mix of ancient Irish music and their biggest hits at Stockton University's Performing Arts Center main stage in Galloway, NJ, on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 2:00pm.



Algonquin Arts Theatre presents "Fiddler on the Roof"

"I should set my clock by you," laughed Leland Sklar as he was just finishing up his last dates on tour with Lyle Lovett. "Then I'm Heading home, then heading to the NAMM Show and then getting ready for the Grammy show; my dance card is pretty full right now; I'm turning 77 and I never thought I'd be this busy at this time in my life. You always kind of assume in a '"Flavor of the month" business that you're gonna be out in the pasture before too long and knock on wood, I think about it all of the time and I always kind of think that a moving target is kind of harder to hit so; keep moving."

Glassroots Announces Major Expansion to New Space in Teachers Village, Anchoring the City's Arts & Education District

(NEWARK, NJ) -- GlassRoots, Newark's 23-year-old nonprofit glass art institution, is thrilled to announce its move and expansion in 2025 to a new space at 23 William Street in RBH Group's Teachers Village community. This state-of-the-art ground-level location will house GlassRoots' offices, glassmaking studios, classrooms, and event spaces, providing greater access and visibility to the general public. Twice the size of the organization's current space in Newark's Downtown District, GlassRoots' new home will position Newark's premier glass art center as an anchor of the City's Arts and Education District and an engaging cultural institution for an evolving neighborhood.



Photography Talk: Abstracts in Nature at Tulpehaking Nature Center

(HAMILTON, NJ) -- The nonprofit Friends for the Abbott Marshlands (FFAM) announces a new talk, Abstracts in Nature, by photographer David O. Anderson, on Sunday, March 24 from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Dave will speak about his approaches to abstract photography in Abbott Marshlands in anticipation of the 2024 Voices of the Marsh Photography Exhibition to be held this fall. Topics will include The Concept of Abstract Photography, and how it relates to: In-Camera techniques, Computer-based applications and effects, and iPhone-based applications. Beginner, intermediate and advanced photographers are invited. The talk is FREE, but online registration is required.



Carteret PAC presents UNCORK Spring! Wine and Food Experience

​​​​​​​(CARTERET, NJ) -- The first-ever indoor UNCORK Spring! wine and food experience will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at URSB Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center, 46 Washington Ave. Eleven prize-winning Garden State wineries will sample 125 wines, some of which will be paired with food.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
