The Craig Sailer Project Sponsors a Food Drive Throughout April

(CLINTON, NJ) -- The Craig Sailer Project is sponsoring a food drive to benefit food pantries and food banks serving the Town of Clinton, Hunterdon County, and State of New Jersey during the month of April, with a culminating celebration and day of music by the band on Sunday, April 28 at the Red Mill Museum in Clinton, New Jersey.

(MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse is presenting Gun & Powder through May 5, 2024. The new musical features book and lyrics by Angelica Chéri and music by Ross Baum. Directed by Stevie Walker-Webb, choreographed by Tiffany Rea-Fisher and music directed by Austin Cook, Gun & Powder is inspired by the true story of Mary (Renée) and Martha Clarke (LaFontaine), African American twin sisters who take extraordinary measures to settle their mother's sharecropper debt and save her home. Photographers Evan Zimmerman and Jeremy Daniel were on hand to take photos.



Rex Manning Day Celebrated in Princeton

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- On Monday, April 8, 2024, Princeton celebrated the uniquely 90's holiday known as Rex Manning Day with a wave of nostalgia and excitement. The day, inspired by the cult-classic film Empire Records celebrated the movie's enduring legacy and community of fans it has forged. McCarter Theatre Center and the historic Princeton Garden Theatre joined forces to present a free community screening of the film, which chronicles a day in the life of a record store facing corporate takeover, embodying the spirit of 90's rebellion and camaraderie.



American Theater Group's Monday Night Play Reading Series presents "Larry: The Big-Time Broadway Producer"

LoMotion Live presents "SW/SP"

(BOONTON, NJ) -- LoMotion Live presents SW/SP, a new stage play from screenwriter and playwright Caytha Jentis, at the Parsippany Arts Center from April 12-14, 2024. SW/SP is a cross generational social commentary comedy about the conundrum of love, dating, connection and sex in our digital driven world where everything and everybody is a swipe away and nobody tells the truth. The play comes to New Jersey following a successful Off-Broadway run.



RVCC to Host Webinar on Holocaust Remembrance

(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- In commemoration of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), the Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Raritan Valley Community College will present "Meaningful Moments and Holocaust Remembrance with Maud Dahme and NJEA teachers Tamara Beatty and Lisa Hann," on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 7:00pm-8:00pm. The event is free of charge and open to the public.



Split Level Concerts 2024-2025 Schedule In Ocean Grove

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

So, we thought it would be a good thing to celebrate that anniversary and do a "My Whitesnake Years" tour and when we were done, people from all over the world began asking if we'd be willing to do a run here or there and we went to Scandinavia, Spain and there is actually more stuff in the pipeline for next year also and of course now to the United States and it has been a lot of fun so far."
