Gateway Playhouse presents "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"

(SOMERS POINT, NJ) -- Gateway Playhouse presents Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - the first musical of its 2024 mainstage season - across two weekends, May 31 to June 2 and June 7-9. Joseph features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. The production will be double cast at Gateway will performances are at 7:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays, with 2:00pm matinees on Sundays.



Sandy Cameron to join NJ Festival Orchestra for Outdoor Concert in Westfield

(WESTFIELD, NJ) -- The New Jersey Festival Orchestra is back outdoors in Westfield on Saturday, June 15 for music by Beethoven and Stravinsky, and featuring virtuoso violinist Sandy Cameron performing Prokofievs's renowned Violin Concerto No.2. The garden setting concert will begin at 7:30pm.








Bridge Players Theatre Company presents "Once Upon a Mattress"

When Burlington-based Bridge Players Theatre Company originally planned to produce the classic 1959 musical "Once Upon a Mattress," it was 2020 and the pandemic disrupted the planned performances. Now, four years later, the company finally gets the chance to put on this production with many of the same cast members that were originally supposed to be in the show.

Joe Grushecky has released "Goodbye Steeltown," a track off the forthcoming Houserocker: A Joe Grushecky Anthology, out on May 24, 2024 via Omnivore Recordings. This song and the remaining 35 tracks on the 2 disc set are newly remastered by multiple Grammy-winner Michael Graves, and co-Produced by Johnny Grushecky and multiple Grammy-winner Cheryl Pawelski.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

So, we thought it would be a good thing to celebrate that anniversary and do a "My Whitesnake Years" tour and when we were done, people from all over the world began asking if we'd be willing to do a run here or there and we went to Scandinavia, Spain and there is actually more stuff in the pipeline for next year also and of course now to the United States and it has been a lot of fun so far."
