(LAFAYETTE, NJ) -- Skylands Museum of Art has announced that Broadway's The Phantom of the Opera singer, Satomi Hofmann will join the May 3, 2025 Artist's Reception for Anne Bachelier, creator of the museum's current exhibition featuring the oil paintings that illuminate the gothic tale. The day's festivities will also include an artist's meet and greet, book signing and silent auction, featuring not only the last three limited-edition editions of Bachelier's books, a new oil painting called "Night of the Masks" but also two "Fondest Greetings" prop letters from the show, both of which were tucked into Madame Giry's bodice then read/sung aloud in performance in the Broadway production.

Vivid Dreamers is a program that celebrates the unique creativity of each individual student, and helps them to develop their own voice and personal expression.

Dorie Dahlberg, Frank Hanavan, and Grant Hardeway have all demonstrated how much urban storytelling they can coax out of an odd picture. Then there's Susan Evans Grove, an experimentalist unabashed, who finds constellations in the pockmarked hulls of ships, and, through tricks of illumination and shadow, turns arrangements of cosmetics bottles into post-apocalyptic skylines. Grove's hallucinations teach us something important about light: under the direction of a skilled illusionist, it obscures as much as it shows.

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- This spring, Arden Children's Theatre invites families into a hilariously twisted world where classic fairy tales don't go quite as expected in its next production of the 2025/26 season, The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales (The Stinky Cheese Man). Based on the beloved book by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith, adapted by John Glore, the production brings the book's fractured fairy tales to life for kids and adults alike. Directed by Steve Pacek, the production runs on the Arden’s Arcadia stage with previews starting April 8, opening night on April 18, with performances running through May 31.
