In a society ravaged by hate and violence, two young people unexpectedly find love. Isaac Hickox-Young and Billie Wyatt play the fateful couple in Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's production. Directed by Artistic Director Emerita Bonnie J. Monte, the production runs from September 10 through October 5, 2025.

(WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Luna Stage's RIFT received the prestigious The Scotsman Fringe First Award in August, recognizing "outstanding new writing premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe." The play, written by Gabriel Jason Dean, was commissioned by Luna Stage and premiered at the West Orange theatre in 2024, directed by Ari Laura Kreith and starring Matt Monaco and Blake Stadnik. The Luna creative team partnered with UK-based Richard Jordan Productions and the Traverse Theatre to bring the RIFT to Edinburgh.

The canopy of foliage that hangs over the streetcorners feels saturated with moisture. Even the shadows on the sidewalk are puddle blue. Businesses have their umbrellas open. A few people do, too.
