Somerset County to Host Special Art Exhibit in Celebration of Open Space Preservation Program

(SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ) -- A new lineup of artwork, which depicts the open space and landscapes of 12 Somerset County parks, will soon be on display in the Somerset County Administration Building at 20 Grove Street, Somerville, NJ. The art exhibit will run from October 17 to December 31, 2025, and features over 30 New Jersey artists who have worked to showcase the vast diversity that exists within the 15,000 acres of preserved open space in Somerset County.








NJ Rep presents the World Premiere of "The Drop Off" by James Anthony Tyler

(LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey Repertory Company (NJ Rep) is proud to present the world premiere of The Drop Off, a powerful new comic-drama by James Anthony Tyler, recipient of the 3rd Annual Horton Foote Playwriting Award. Directed by Delicia Turner Sonnenberg, performances will run October 30 through November 23, 2025, and opening night will be celebrated on November 1 at 7:00pm.



Middlesex College Literature Conference Explores How Minds Are Opened When Books Are Too

(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ) -- Over 100 members of the Middlesex College community attended the second annual Get Lit(-erature) Conference at Crabiel Hall on October 9, 2025 to hear professors in the College's English department present the role of literature in our society throughout history and today. The purpose of the conference was to spark ideas, conversations, and insights along the way.



Morris Arts to Host Pumpkin Illumination

Arden Theatre Company presents "Dear Evan Hansen"

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Arden Theatre Company brings the Tony Award-winning musical, Dear Evan Hansen, to the F. Otto Haas Stage this spring. Featuring a book by Steven Levenson and music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the production is directed by Terrence J. Nolen and co-conceived by Jorge Cousineau and Nolen. Performances begin May 21, the show opens May 27, and runs through July 5, 2026.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.
