'Happy Gilmore 2' Spends Record-Breaking $152M in NJ during Production

(TRENTON, NJ) -- The New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission (NJMPTVC), which is part of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), announced that sports comedy film Happy Gilmore 2, had a total qualified spend of $152.5 million during its total of 64 days of filming in the state. The Adam Sandler sequel, which premiered last month on Netflix, nearly 30 years after the original film, utilized the NJEDA's Film and Digital Media Tax Credit Program.

Irving Plaza presents Kula Shaker

(NEW YORK, NY) -- Prime purveyors of psychedelia and one of the biggest U.K. bands of the '90s, Kula Shaker are back and stronger than ever before. The band released the single "Broke As Folk" on August 1st and will perform at Irving Plaza in New York City on Monday, September 22, 2025 as part of their North American tour.

Haddon Township's Summer of Love - 60s, 70s, 80s music festival takes place on Saturday

(HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- Haddon Township's Summer of Love - 60s, 70s, and 80s Music Festival returns to Haddon Township with a day-long celebration of music, community, and family fun on Saturday, August 23, 2025! This free event takes place on Haddon Avenue from 2:00pm to 10:00pm and features five live bands, a beer garden, food trucks, games, a kids zone, and a glow party finale.



Hill Creek Farms Opens September 6th for Final Season

(MULLICA HILL, NJ) -- After more than two decades of creating cherished memories for families across South Jersey, Hill Creek Farms will open its gates one final time on Saturday, September 6, 2025, for its farewell season. As the farm prepares to turn the page to its next chapter, this season will be a return to its roots—a simpler, more traditional experience that celebrates the core farming activities that made Hill Creek a local favorite. NJPAC presents a Spring Season of Jazz

(NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents a Spring Season of Jazz with free monthly jazz jams at Clement's Place and two special concert events inside the Victoria Theater. This series, running from September through June, is co-presented by NJPAC's Jazz Advisory Committee and Rutgers University–Newark's Institute of Jazz Studies (IJS). Immerse yourself in the relaxing sounds of jazz music that stimulate the players’ and listeners' minds.

PBS' Independent Lens Launches 20th Season of Free Pop-Up Screening Series in Teaneck and Nationwide

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The award-winning PBS documentary series, INDEPENDENT LENS, presents the launch of the upcoming season of Indie Lens Pop-Up in partnership with the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Puffin Cultural Forum. The season kicks-off on February 4, 2026 with The Librarians and continues through May. The series is free for all but sign up is required.

State Theatre New Jersey presents The Sound Studio Series 2026

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey proudly presents The Sound Studio Series, an immersive musical experience that places concertgoers at the very heart of the performance. Held in STNJ's intimate Studio space, limited to just 80 attendees, The Sound Studio Series features a dynamic mix of both classical and rock performances. Taking the stage for a strictly limited 8-week engagement, Megan will light up the Al Hirshfeld Theatre from Tuesday, March 24th to Sunday, May 17, 2026, promising an unmissable, moment in the show's legendary run.
