September 2022 offers incredible performances from Latine artists: Afro-Cuban jazz grooves from Dayramir González, an evening of Latin alternative music with Jessica Medina & Mai-Elka Prado, Latin-folk influences from the Argentine female-powered band Fémina. Plus there's the dreamy Stephanie Chou, who combines classical European and Chinese influences, Taiwanese artist Chien Chien Lu, who shares a distinctive approach to contemporary jazz, and hilarious anti-racist girl group, AzN PoP! (TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Rapper, actor, producer, author and speaker Ice-T will bring his Ice-Cold Facts to the Grunin Center for the Arts at Ocean County College on Tuesday, September 20 at 6:30pm. Ice-T will discuss overcoming adversity and share the life lessons that helped him not just to survive, but to thrive. The Ocean County College Foundation presents this as part of the Blauvelt Lecture Series. Tickets are $15.
(WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- The Pollak Gallery at Monmouth University presents the gallery exhibition Women’s History; Passion and Power featuring the work of Julie Dzikiewicz a Virginia-based artist. Dzikiewicz works in ancient encaustic technique using melted wax as paint. The wax is layered and re-fired to create luminous, stained-glass effects and three-dimensional texture. The exhibition runs from August 1 – September 30, 2022. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

American Stories: Gifts from the Jersey City Museum Collection, on view from September 1 to December 30, features nearly 100 paintings, prints, photographs, and sculptures.

All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. "Yeah, the idea started early last year," enthusiastically stated guitarist Adrian Vandenberg as he discussed his upcoming "My Whitesnake Years" tour, a conglomeration of hits from some of the most revered classic rock acts of all time. "Last year it was 35 years ago when Whitesnake headlined the legendary Donington Festival in England. So, we thought it would be a good thing to celebrate that anniversary and do a "My Whitesnake Years" tour and when we were done, people from all over the world began asking if we'd be willing to do a run here or there and we went to Scandinavia, Spain and there is actually more stuff in the pipeline for next year also and of course now to the United States and it has been a lot of fun so far."
