New Jersey State Council on the Arts Grants $2 Million to New Jersey Artists through Individual Artist Fellowship Program

(TRENTON, NJ) -- The New Jersey State Council on the Arts held its first public meeting of 2026 on February 10th, where $2 million was awarded to 198 New Jersey artists through the Council's Individual Artist Fellowship program. In 2022, the Council voted to authorize an unprecedented investment of $2 million in the Fellowship program, and this continued commitment to funding makes these significant awards to New Jersey artists possible once a year.

The Theater Project presents THINK FAST - A virtual short play competition from February 27 to March 1, 2026. At this competition, 7 to 10 short plays are selected for 3 pre-recorded broadcast performances. The goal is to give emerging writers in NJ and beyond the chance to showcase their work.



South Camden Theatre Company presents "The Revolutionists"

(CAMDEN, NJ) -- South Camden Theatre Company presents The Revolutionists by Lauren Gunderson across three weekends from March 13-29, 2026. The play takes place in 1793 where four bold women—playwright Olympe de Gouges, assassin Charlotte Corday, ribbon-loving Marie Antoinette, and Haitian rebel Marianne Angelle—team up in a wild, feminist comedy set amid the Reign of Terror.



Stress Factory Comedy Club presents Craig Conant

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Stress Factory Comedy Club presents four performances by Craig Conant from February 13-14, 2026. Craig was the standout “Unrepped New Face” at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal.



Spring Lake Theatre Company presents "The Wedding Singer"

(SPRING LAKE, NJ) -- Spring Lake Theatre Company presents The Wedding Singer across two weekends from February 13-22, 2026. Based on the hit film, the play follows Robbie Hart, a loveable wedding performer who gets jilted at the altar and has to find his groove—and his heart—all over again.



Catch a Rising Star Comedy Club presents Bobby Collins on Valentine's Day

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Catch a Rising Star Comedy Club presents Bobby Collins on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 8:00pm. Bobby Collins is always the funniest guy in the room. With more than 200 stand-up performances around the country each year, he is a show-business institution who has made millions laugh.

Arden

Arden Theatre Company presents "Dear Evan Hansen"

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Arden Theatre Company brings the Tony Award-winning musical, Dear Evan Hansen, to the F. Otto Haas Stage this spring. Featuring a book by Steven Levenson and music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the production is directed by Terrence J. Nolen and co-conceived by Jorge Cousineau and Nolen. Performances begin May 21, the show opens May 27, and runs through July 5, 2026.



MPAC

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.



Classic

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre presents the classic musical, My Fair Lady, weekends from June 12 to July 5, 2026. The tale of a cockney flower girl transformed into an elegant lady, featuring one of musical theatre's greatest scores.

East Lynne Theater Company presents "Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years" by Emily Mann

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- The reimagined East Lynne Theater Company opens its Season Forty-Six with the extraordinary, real-life story Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years by Emily Mann, running June 18 to July 19, 2026 at the Clemans Theater for the Arts at the Allen AME in Cape May.
