(HOLMDEL, NJ) --The Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater (AXCBT) is presenting the World Premiere of Artistic Director Gabriel Chajnik’s multi-media dance musical, The Lost Princess of Oz in the Pollak Theater at Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ.  The production runs from Saturday, August 20 to Sunday, August 28 with at 7:30pm with nine performances in all. Union County Fall Concert features Max Weinberg, The Smithereens, and Ray Andersen's Bowie Tribute

(CLARK, NJ) -- Union County presents a Fall Concert headlined by Max Weinberg on Saturday, September 10 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Oak Ridge Park, located at 136 Oak Ridge Road in Clark. The event is free for all to attend. The concert also features The Smithereens. Ray Andersen’s Bowie & Beyond opens the night. Residents should bring their own blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the show.








Jimmy Vivino headlines The Festival in the Borough

(WASHINGTON, NJ) -- The Festival in the Borough will have a bit of a late night TV feel to it this year when Conan O'Brien's longtime musical director, Jimmy Vivino, takes the stage. This year's festival, the largest street and music event in Northwest Jersey, is slated for Saturday, September 17. It is truly a townwide event with three stages of music and nearly 20 musical acts throughout the day and into the night in the Downtown district along Route 57. 



THE GOAT by David Burke hosts Comedy Night with Joseph Anthony

(UNION BEACH, NJ) -- Headliner comedian Joseph Anthony and featuring Rob Epple will keep you laughing at the next Comedy Night dinner and a show on Thursday, August 25 at the “Chandelier Supper Club” at New Jersey's hottest new restaurant, THE GOAT by David Burke. The evening begins with a reception at 6:30pm for cocktails (cash bar) with light passed hors d’oeuvres; then, the three-course prix fixe dinner and comedy show starts at 7:00pm. 



Novelist Joyce Hinnefeld and Poet Lois Marie Harrod to Present at Warren Community College

(WASHINGTON, NJ) -- The Warren Community College Visiting Authors Series returns to an in-person format on Thursday, September 15, marking the first on-campus event of the venerated and long-running series since the beginning of the pandemic. Novelist Joyce Hinnefeld and poet Lois Marie Harrod will read from their most recent books beginning at 7:30pm in room 123A. The event is free and open to the public.



Centenary Stage Company Opens Registration for Fall 2022 Conservatory of Dance

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- This fall, Centenary Stage Company is offering 2 eight-week sessions of the Conservatory of Dance. The first session will run August 29 through October 21, and the second session will run October 24 through December 16. Registration for the Conservatory of Dance is open through August 28; the cost for 1 class per week is $130.00, 2 classes per week is $195.00, and 3 classes per week is $275.00 per person. Prior dance experience is required.  



Anthony Krizan releases video for "Strawberry Wine"

Anthony Krizan is one of the busiest artists in the Garden State, which explains why it's been nearly six years since his last album.  The owner of Sonic Boom Studios, Krizan is a producer/engineer as well as a top guitarist and singer-songwriter. On August 19, 2022, he released a video for "Strawberry Wine" - the first single from his upcoming album.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

So, we thought it would be a good thing to celebrate that anniversary and do a "My Whitesnake Years" tour and when we were done, people from all over the world began asking if we'd be willing to do a run here or there and we went to Scandinavia, Spain and there is actually more stuff in the pipeline for next year also and of course now to the United States and it has been a lot of fun so far."
