Taste Trenton Returns June 10-12

(TRENTON, NJ) -- Taste Trenton has registered about 40 restaurants to welcome “food tourists” as part of a self-guided tour of the capital city’s restaurants during the weekend of June 10th through 12th. This not-for-profit effort, initially begun in 2016, is designed to introduce Trenton residents and guests from across the region to the vast culinary and eating options available in many corners of the city. What began as a single day event with just a dozen restaurant in the Chambersburg region, has evolved to three days and an ever-expanding and changing list of participating restaurants.



NJPAC presents The Simon & Garfunkel Story in March

(NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents The Simon & Garfunkel Story on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 7:30pm. This immersive and transcendent experience chronicles the amazing journey shared by the folk-rock duo, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. The show tells the story from their humble beginnings when they were known as Tom & Jerry, to their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the 1960s, to their dramatic split in 1970. It culminates with the famous “The Concert in Central Park” reunion in 1981 with more than a half-million fans in attendance.



NJ Arts Education Demonstrates Resilience in Schools Despite Covid-19 Pandemic, According to New Census Report

(WARREN, NJ) -- New Jersey showed significant artistic growth during the 2020/2021 school year, particularly when it came to Dance and Theatre programs. This is according to the latest census report, The Resilience of Arts Ed Now: Beyond the Pandemic, released this week and conducted by Arts Ed NJ as part of the 2021 New Jersey Arts Education Census Project.

Amazing Animation Film Unforgotten Screens At The 2022 New Jersey International Film Festival On June 4!

Unforgotten is a deeply effectual animated short by Sujin Kim telling stories of the harrowing plights of comfort women enslaved by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. The film uses other-worldly imagery and symbolism as various tales of being a comfort woman are told. The stories are devastating, detailing the harsh truths of being stolen and exploited. The animation is beautifully executed, simultaneously being impressive and impactfully haunting. Unforgotten is a wonderfully put-together, impactful collage that poignantly conveys the nightmare of being a comfort woman.

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The award-winning PBS documentary series, INDEPENDENT LENS, presents the launch of the upcoming season of Indie Lens Pop-Up in partnership with the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Puffin Cultural Forum. The season kicks-off on February 4, 2026 with The Librarians and continues through May. The series is free for all but sign up is required.
