Lewis Center for the Arts presents "How to Be Not Alone"

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Lewis Center for the Arts' Program in Theater and Music Theater will present How to Be Not Alone, a concert of original and Broadway songs performed by the Princeton Playhouse Ensembles led by Solon Snider Sway and featuring guest tap dance artist Michael J. Love. Directed by faculty member Aaron Landsman and cosponsored by the Department of Music, the concert is on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Berlind Theatre. Showtime is 7:00pm.



Literature to Life To Host Its First Books Unite Book Club in Paterson on March 2nd

(PATERSON, NJ) -- Literature to Life (LTL) will be hosting a free book club gathering on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Paterson Free Public Library (PFPL) discussing I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter by Erika L. Sánchez. This program is part of Books Unite: Literature to Life in Paterson, a yearlong series of free community events, bringing literature to life through performances, book clubs, and interactive workshops designed to engage community members in powerful stories and shared conversation.



Spotlight Players presents "Once Upon a One More Time"

(MATAWAN, NJ) -- Spotlight Players is thrilled (and yes, just a little smug) to present the NJ community theatre premiere of Once Upon a One More Time, a glitter-drenched, pop-powered fairy tale remix that proves there's more than one way to live happily ever after. Performances run across two weekends from March 13-22, 2026. This is a jukebox musical based on songs popularized by Britney Spears and Book by Jon Hartmere.



Laurie Berkner to Release Her First EP of Original Songs Sung Entirely in Spanish

(NEW YORK, NY) -- ¡Bienvenidos, niños y familias! On March 20, 2026, beloved children's musician Laurie Berkner will release Cinco Canciones En Español, an EP of Spanish language versions of some of her most popular songs.








PEAK Performances at Montclair State University welcomes CHAMPIONS FOR THE ARTS

Pixie Dust Players presents "Parade"

(WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Pixie Dust Players presents Parade, the Alfred Uhry and Jason Robert Brown musical, at the JCC Metrowest across two weekends from February 13-22, 2026. Parade tells the story of the 1913 trial and imprisonment and 1915 lynching of Jewish American Leo Frank in Georgia.



Asbury Park Music Awards Returns February 20th

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The Asbury Park Music Awards return to The Stone Pony on Friday, February 20, 2026. For over two decades, the awards night brought the local music community together and shined a spotlight on the artists. This will be the first time the awards are presented since 2018.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.



Classic

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

East Lynne Theater Company presents "Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years" by Emily Mann

Princeton Summer Theater presents "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown"

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Summer Theater's 2026 Children's Show is You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, which runs weekends from June 20 to August 1, 2026. A beloved musical since its premiere in 1967, Clark Gesner brings Charles M. Schulz's "PEANUTS" characters to the stage. The musical ventures through the highs and lows of young life, from baseball and homework to young love and friendship. With an empathetic and whimsical eye, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown reminds us of the importance of connection and joy.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
