(TEANECK, NJ) -- The 17th annual Teaneck International Film Festival took place November 13-20, 2022 with both virtual and in-person screenings. More than 15 years ago, a small group of dedicated volunteers with the support of the nonprofit organization Puffin Foundation, Ltd., set out to create an event that would present a collection of compelling and imaginative feature-length films, documentaries, and shorts from a variety of cultures that would lead audiences to question, debate, and become caring and involved citizens who recognize the need to institute positive change.



New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble Announces Alexandra Gonzalez As Associate Artistic Director

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble is in their 54th year of providing artistic excellence in pre-professional dance education and performances, with forward thinking programming that empowers dancers by engaging internationally acclaimed artists and choreographers. Yardley Players to Hold Auditions for "Hello Dolly!"

(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Yardley Players will hold auditions for Hello Dolly! at the Kelsey Theatre on the West Windsor, NJ campus of the Mercer County Comunity College. Auditions will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm and Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The production will be directed by Marge Swider.



Lakehouse Music Academy presents Rhythm at Monmouth University

(WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- Lakehouse Music Academy presents Rhythm at Monmouth University's Lauren K. Woods Theater on Saturday, January 21, 2023. The event runs from 7:00pm – 9:30pm. This is an intensive drum and percussion experience hosted by the head of Lakehouse Music Academy's drum program, Steve Honoshowsky. Featuring special guests, solos, duets, and group performances from the Academy's drum students and instructors, as well as the members of the Monmouth University Pep Band Drum Line.

'Joy' the Musical that Inspires as it Entertains

A new show called Joy is a musical enjoying a premiere run at George Street Playhouse. The show is about Joy Mangano, known to the world as an entrepreneur who invented the Miracle Mop. Although she continues to be a major success, it was a rough road getting there. With a book by Ken Davenport, Mangano’s inspiring story unfolds through good storytelling, an original score and a fine cast.



Sieminski Theater Cultural Arts Center presents Bob Malone

(BASKING RIDGE, NJ) -- The Sieminski Theater Cultural Arts Center presents Bob Malone on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 7:30pm. Bob has toured the world as a solo artist for over two decades and has played keyboards with rock legend John Fogerty since 2011. He is also a busy session player and is featured on the 2017 Ringo Starr record “Give More Love.”

PBS' Independent Lens Launches 20th Season of Free Pop-Up Screening Series in Teaneck and Nationwide

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The award-winning PBS documentary series, INDEPENDENT LENS, presents the launch of the upcoming season of Indie Lens Pop-Up in partnership with the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Puffin Cultural Forum. The season kicks-off on February 4, 2026 with The Librarians and continues through May. The series is free for all but sign up is required.

State Theatre New Jersey presents The Sound Studio Series 2026

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey proudly presents The Sound Studio Series, an immersive musical experience that places concertgoers at the very heart of the performance. Held in STNJ's intimate Studio space, limited to just 80 attendees, The Sound Studio Series features a dynamic mix of both classical and rock performances.
