'Joy' the Musical that Inspires as it Entertains
 

A new show called Joy is a musical enjoying a premiere run at George Street Playhouse. The show is about Joy Mangano, known to the world as an entrepreneur who invented the Miracle Mop. Although she continues to be a major success, it was a rough road getting there. With a book by Ken Davenport, Mangano’s inspiring story unfolds through good storytelling, an original score and a fine cast.

 



Collingswood Community Theatre presents "The Spongebob Musical"
 

(COLLINGSWOOD, NJ) -- Collingswood Community Theatre presents The Spongebob Musical at the Scottish Rite Auditorium January 6-7 and January 13-14. In this musical based on the Nickelodean animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants, stakes are higher than ever before as SpongeBob and all of Bikini Bottom face the total annihilation of their undersea world.

Sieminski Theater Cultural Arts Center presents Bob Malone
 

(BASKING RIDGE, NJ) -- The Sieminski Theater Cultural Arts Center presents Bob Malone on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 7:30pm. Bob has toured the world as a solo artist for over two decades and has played keyboards with rock legend John Fogerty since 2011. He is also a busy session player and is featured on the 2017 Ringo Starr record “Give More Love.”

NJEDA Awards First Studio Partner Designation to Lions Gate Films, Inc.
 

(TRENTON, NJ) -- On December 21, 2022, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) announced the award of the first-ever Studio Partner designation under the Garden State Film and Digital Media Jobs Act.  The designation was awarded to Lions Gate Films Inc., which is set to lease space at the Newark studio currently under construction by Great Point Studios, after approval by the NJEDA Board.
