Erika Sherger has announced the independent release of her new indie-folk album, Bad Wolf, now available on all major streaming channels. Bad Wolf includes 12 original songs that were written and recorded by Sherger in New Jersey between 2021 and 2023. The tracks were recorded at GD PonderRosa Studios in Lafayette, the County College of Morris in Randolph and in Sherger’s home in Boonton Township. This release also features tracks by several talented local musicians, including Maribyrd, Joe Biglin and Joe Cirrotti.
(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- Raritan Valley Community College's Arts & Design department will present a student theatre production of Everyman/Everywoman, by Virginia Egermeier, from April 12-15 with performances at 7:00pm. Directed by Adjunct Associate Professor Danielle Barry of Bridgewater, the play will be staged in the Welpe Theatre at the College's Branchburg campus. Everyman, the popular medieval play, was the most widely read, frequently produced play before the Elizabethan Age.
(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, will present 101 Humiliating Stories by Lisa Kron from April 13-16, kicking off their three-week Spring Solos Series. Directed by Mark Spina (Union), the show will be performed by Laura Ekstrand (Livingston), Artistic Director of Vivid Stage. Following this comedy is The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey by James Lecesne and Harry Clarke by David Cale. Each of the three solo shows explores the many dimensions that every person contains, and allows each actor to portray a multitude of characters along the way.
