MPAC presents The Trifecta of Folk on May 7th

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Three groups at the center of the 1960s Folk Revival continue to delight fans with their smooth musical sounds. The Kingston Trio ("Where Have All the Flowers Gone," "Tom Dooley"), The Brothers Four ("Try to Remember") and The Limeliters ("Take My True Love by the Hand") perform as the Trifecta of Folk at Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) on Sunday, May 7 at 3:00pm. Tickets range from $39-$79.



Gemma New returns to the New Jersey Symphony to conduct Symphonie fantastique

(NEWARK, NJ) -- This April 27-30, Gemma New reunites with the New Jersey Symphony to conduct Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique, Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini featuring internationally-renowned pianist George Li, and Sarah Gibson's warp & weft. Known for her dynamic and engaging performances, New served as both the Assistant Conductor from 2009 to 2013 and then as the Associate Conductor from 2013 to 2016 for the Symphony and was recently appointed Artistic Advisor and Principal Conductor of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.








Eagle Theatre presents "Water by the Spoonful"

(HAMMONTON, NJ) -- The real and digital worlds collide this May 4-21 at Eagle Theatre with award-winning drama, Water by the Spoonful. The 2012 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama is written by Philadelphia native, Quiara Alegría Hudes, known best for her work on the complete A Soldier's Fugue Trilogy, of which Water by the Spoonful is a part, and the book for the acclaimed musical In the Heights.



Renowned Pianists to "Battle" on Grunin Center's Main Stage

All-Star Ensemble of Jersey Musicians Seeks Your Support for Tiny Desk Concert Concert Series

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Recording artist Prince Derek Doll and two-time Grammy Award winning saxophonist Mark Gross (with the Dave Holland Big Band) have assembled an all-star Jersey ensemble of musicians to audition for NPR's iconic Tiny Desk Contest 2023. PBS' Independent Lens Launches 20th Season of Free Pop-Up Screening Series in Teaneck and Nationwide

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The award-winning PBS documentary series, INDEPENDENT LENS, presents the launch of the upcoming season of Indie Lens Pop-Up in partnership with the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Puffin Cultural Forum. The season kicks-off on February 4, 2026 with The Librarians and continues through May. The series is free for all but sign up is required.
