Jim McGuinn, later known as Roger, was already a veteran of the New York and Los Angeles music scenes when he co-founded the group that would become the Byrds with Gene Clark and David Crosby in 1964. Prior to forming the Byrds, Roger toured and performed with the Limeliters, Chad Mitchell Trio and Bobby Darin as a guitarist and banjo player. He was also the musical director on Judy Collins #3.

(MAHWAH, NJ) -- Ramapo College of New Jersey, in collaboration with Newark Public School District’s Science Park High School teacher Shawn Adler, published the book The Helpers. The memoir features stories from high school students across New Jersey who share their experiences of struggle, doubt, crisis, and talk about those who helped them persevere and triumph when faced with adversity. "The published collection showcases 61 of the best stories, which highlight the extraordinary power of our most vulnerable," said Adler. This is the second collaboration between Shawn Adler and Ramapo College.

We know it's summer because the window is closed and the air conditioner is plugged in. There's a pretty good chance that the possessor of the leg is undressed. In one hand, she holds a cellphone, and she might be broadcasting something. On the wall, a small whip-like broomstick hangs. It could be the ride of a tiny witch. It could be the professional tool of a dominatrix.
