Arts Council of Princeton to host Four on the Floor Music Festival

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) will host Four on the Floor, Princeton's inaugural alternative rock festival, on Saturday, October 14, 2023. From 6:15pm-10:00pm, local alt-rock bands will take the stage to provide 3+ hours of live music in the Arts Council's parking lot pop-up venue.



Reeves-Reed Arboretum to Celebrate October with Two Fall Festivals

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Now that summer is a thing of the past, it’s time to celebrate the autumn season upon us. The leaves are changing, there’s a crispness in the air, and fun festivals await at Reeves-Reed Arboretum! The non-profit public garden in Summit will kick off the season with Celebrate Fall on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 11:00am to 3:00pm. This family-friendly fair will feature fall-themed games, crafts and activities for the kids, photo opportunities throughout the beautiful gardens and woodlands, a spooky Halloween trail, pumpkins, music, an art exhibit, market vendors, festive food, and adorable goats – fun for the whole family! 



Centenary Stage's NEXTStage Repertory presents "Six Rounds of Vengeance"

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company's NEXTStage Repertory will return for the 2023-2024 season with a production of Six Rounds of Vengeance by Qui Nguyen from October 12-16, 2023. Performances will take place in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center of the Centenary University campus in Hackettstown. In post-apocalyptic "Lost Vegas," a young gunslinger named Jess December enlists the help of a mysterious samurai cowboy to help avenge the murder of her sister. However, the gang they'll be going against has powers that go beyond just gunpowder and steel.



Lyceum Hall Center for the Arts presents "A Year with Frog and Toad"

(BURLINGTON, NJ) -- Lyceum Hall Center for the Arts presents three performances of A Year with Frog and Toad from October 14-15, 2023. This is their first Theatre for Young Audiences show! It's a "don't miss" for kids! Join Frog and Toad as they sing through a special year of magical lessons about acceptance, love, and the joys of a simple life!








Foo Fighters' 2024 U.S. Stadium Tour

(NEW YORK, NY) -- With their universally acclaimed 11th album But Here We Are stacking up Best of 2023 So Far accolades and singles "Rescued" and "Under You" cementing the band's tally of more #1s than any other artist at Rock and Alternative Radio, Foo Fighters have confirmed a massive run of summer 2024 U.S. Stadium dates. The newly announced leg of the Everything or Nothing at All Tour will kick off with the band's return to New York's Citi Field for the first time since 2015 for a July 17 and 19 doubleheader and will see Foo Fighters host 12 rock 'n' roll marathons at 10 stadiums, including a pair of shows August 9 and 11 at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.



Geddy Lee: My Effin' Life In Conversation Comes to NYC and Philly

Award-winning Canadian musician Geddy Lee has announced My Effin' Life In Conversation. The tour will see the Rush singer/bassist bring to life his forthcoming memoir My Effin' Life, due for release on November 14th on Harper Collins. Produced by Live Nation, the 14-city tour kicks off on November 13th at The Beacon Theatre in New York, making stops across North America in Boston, San Francisco, Chicago and more before wrapping up in Toronto at Massey Hall on December 7th.



Broadway's Kate Baldwin and Aaron Lazar to perform with The American Pops Orchestra at Axelrod PAC

(DEAL PARK, NJ) -- Celebrate the greatest songs of Broadway and Hollywood with two-time Tony Award nominee Kate Baldwin and Broadway and television star Aaron Lazar as they return to the Axelrod Performing Arts Center on Saturday, October 14, 2023 in a special concert with the American Pops Orchestra, conducted by Luke Frazier. RVCC to Co-host Community-wide Kristallnacht Programs

(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- The Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg will present in-person and online programs in November commemorating Kristallnacht. The events are free of charge and open to the public. Registration is required.



BlowUpRadio.com Announces 2023 Banding Together Benefit Lineup and Compilation Track List

New Jersey internet radio station BlowUpRadio.com Where NJ Rock Lives, continues its annual Banding Together: Benefit For The Spondylitis Association of America, bringing together some of the best indie musicians from around the Garden State, and the world. From Friday, October 13 through Sunday, October 15, 2023, 36 artists will perform half hour sets of their music on BlowUpRadio.com's station. The artists traverse a gambit of genres from easy listening to punk rock, and all sorts of genres in between. The schedule and compilation track list has been announced.

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

A beloved musical since its premiere in 1967, Clark Gesner brings Charles M. Schulz's "PEANUTS" characters to the stage. The musical ventures through the highs and lows of young life, from baseball and homework to young love and friendship. 2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

The sky is rarely glowering, but it does seem full; ready to have something to say, or wrapping up something that it is busy saying. The canopy of foliage that hangs over the streetcorners feels saturated with moisture. Even the shadows on the sidewalk are puddle blue. Businesses have their umbrellas open.
