(WEST ORANGE, NJ) --  Luna Stage’s Summer Performance Conservatory for young artists, ages 12-17 returns for 2020, led by teaching artist and Broadway veteran Karl Kenzler. Auditions will be held at Luna Stage, 555 Valley Road in West Orange, on Thursday, February 27 from 4:00pm-6:00pm and Saturday, February 29 from 2:00pm-5:00pm and by appointment.  Students selected for the program will collaborate on a devised play that they will perform on Luna’s MainStage theater this July.... Lynn Cohen, an actress who had performed on Broadway, in films, and on television (most notably playing the nanny on Sex and The City) died on February 14, 2020. The actress had a special relationship with Cape May Stage who honored Lynn and her husband Ron at the annual NJ Theatre Alliance Applause Awards held on October 18, 2010 at the Bickford Theatre in Morristown.... (WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- The Department of Music and Theatre Arts at Monmouth University has announced a production of Albert Innaurato's play Gemini. The production runs March 4 -March 8 and March 11-12 with all shows at 8:00pm except for the Sunday, March 8 matinee at 3:00pm.  Presented in Lauren K. (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- East Lynne Theater Company (ELTC) just completed its Equity open-call auditions in New York City, for its 2020 Season, but will also be auditioning in Cape May, NJ on Saturday March 7 from 11:00am – 7:00pm.  Non-union actors will be seen, as long as no members of Actors' Equity are kept waiting. The theater is located in Cape May, NJ where all shows will be rehearsed. The company operates under an Equity SPT 3 Contract.... READ ON
