
(PRINCETON, NJ) -- West Windsor Arts presents Summer Music and More with Swara (a multi-genre Indian American band) on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 5:00pm - 7:30pm at the Nassau Park Pavilion. Dan Kassel and Friends featuring Johnny Zarfati will open the night.
This is the last of three in their free summer concert series sponsored by Site Centers. At each event attendees are treated to soulful music by local talent in a variety of genres. While you listen, you can even try your hand at free art activities designed for all ages. Bring a picnic and enjoy the sounds of summer with West Windsor Arts!
5:00pm: Dan Kassel and Friends, featuring Johnny Zarfati. Dan Kassel is an innovative cellist who has transformed the role of his instrument in contemporary music. Combining classical technique with innovative live-looping technology, he creates lush, multi-layered soundscapes that transcend traditional genres. His music fuses elements of electronica, jazz, rock, and global traditions, offering audiences a deeply immersive and emotionally resonant experience.
For this show, he is joined by Johnny Zarfati. Johnny is a burgeoning young singer-songwriter from Cape May whose raw and powerful voice has garnered attention across the state and beyond. His new single, “Ceasefire,” is a poignant and emotionally charged track that delves into themes of conflict and the longing for peace. Zarfati’s vocal delivery is both powerful and vulnerable, effectively conveying the song’s message.
6:00pm: Swara - Swara is a multi-genre Indian American band that plays Indian film music and fuses Indian classical structures with other contemporary genres including Jazz, Rock, RnB, etc. They perform in a variety of languages such as English, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
Nassau Park Pavilion is located at 510 Nassau Park Blvd in Princeton, New Jersey (behind Panera). Admission is free.
