(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- RIAA multi-Platinum certified rock band The Revivalists are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their breakthrough 2015 album, Men Amongst Mountains, with the 10th Anniversary Edition of the album and a US headlinging tour. Locally the tour comes to the Wellmont Theater on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 8:00pm. Nolan Taylor will open the night.
The expanded 36-track edition features three alternate versions of their recently Triple Platinum-certified hit “Wish I Knew You,” including a remix by LA-based chillwave master Poolside. The album also features a new collaboration with Portugal. The Man on the fan favorite “It Was A Sin,” along with previously unreleased tracks and live sessions.
"When we got our first mix back from 'It Was A Sin' over 10 years ago, it was a good sign that I wanted to keep going back to listen again and again,” says guitarist and co-writer Zack Feinberg. “There’s so much in there: mystery, moodiness, intensity of emotion. It’s been a great honor for us to perform this song at just about every show over the years and now for John Gourley of Portugal. The Man to lend his singular vocal talents to it? Long live 'It Was A Sin’!"
Tickets range from $70-$210 and are available for purchase online. Wellmont Theater is located at 5 Seymour Street in Montclair, New Jersey.
The Revivalists' third full-length studio recording, Men Amongst Mountains proved the New Orleans, LA-based band's breakthrough upon its July 2015 release, reaching #4 on "Heatseekers Albums," #18 on "Alternative Albums," and #23 on "Top Rock Albums."
Produced by fellow New Orleans icon Ben Ellman of Galactic, the album's success stemmed from both the band's reputation as an electrifying live act and chart-topping hits like "Keep Going" and the recently 3x RIAA Platinum-certified "Wish I Knew You." The latter made history as The Revivalists' first #1 single, topping Billboard's "Adult Alternative Songs" and "Alternative Songs" charts while spending nine weeks on the Billboard "Hot 100."
With over 440 million US streams alone, the heartfelt, horn-driven anthem earned multiple accolades, including Billboard Music Award and iHeartRadio Music Awards nominations. The Revivalists capitalized on their rising fame with standout performances at Central Park SummerStage, Austin City Limits, and Outside Lands, alongside high-profile TV appearances on NBC's TODAY, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, TBS' Conan, and ELLEN.
Though their success continued—including three more #1 singles, sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall and Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and over 1.5 billion worldwide streams—a decade later, Men Amongst Mountains remains a defining moment in The Revivalists' ever-evolving career.
