The rain date is Sunday, October 15. More than 100 visual artists will be featured in the exhibition and sale, representing a wide scope of artistic diversity within Bergen County.

6) Teaneck International Film Festival to Screen "The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks" - (TEANECK, NJ) -- On Friday, November 10, 2023, the Teaneck International Film Festival will screen The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks at Teaneck Cinemas (503 Cedar Lane). Rosa Parks was so much more than the woman who refused to move to the back of the bus.  This 96-minute film, directed by Johanna Hamilton and Yoruba Richen, delves deep into Ms. Parks’ historic role in the Montgomery bus boycott and the Civil Rights Movement. The screening takes place at 7:30pm.

7) Old Library Theatre presents "Titanic, the Musical" - (FAIR LAWN, NJ) -- Old Library Theatre (OLT), Fair Lawn Recreation Department’s resident theatre company, will present Titanic, the Musical, over two weekends, October 13-22, 2023. Featuring music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and a book by Peter Stone, won five Tony awards in 1997, including Best Musical. 9) "Pretty Woman: The Musical" Is No Longer An Unfathomable Fantasy In Today's Society - What’s more American than an inspirational rags-to-riches story? For most, the iconic, seemingly offbeat tale platformed in the 1990 film Pretty Woman wouldn’t check off any of the wholesome criteria necessary to be considered as such. However, I’d beg to differ. The theater adaptation of Pretty Woman: The Musical is the modernized anecdote centered around the world’s oldest profession.

10) Westrick Music Academy Welcomes New Executive Director, Lorraine Goodman - (PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ) -- Westrick Music Academy has announced the appointment of Lorraine Goodman as its new Executive Director. A seasoned arts administrator and accomplished soprano with a rich history in opera and musicals, Ms. Goodman brings a wealth of experience and an unwavering passion for the arts. Reporting to the Board of Directors and collaborating closely with Dr. Lynnel Joy Jenkins, her leadership promises to be invaluable as WMA continues to advance its mission and vision.

Event previews are always one of the most popular areas of the website. Event previews get noticed when we first publish them and then get noticed again when they are brought back to the main area of the site the week the event takes place - sometimes even several months later.  We also run weekly columns promoting events, music, and theatre shows taking place for the week. These columns include our featured event previews and event listings along with all of our event previews of the week. Many times, they are among the most read stories of the week.

Make sure your events are part of our weekly columns by sending press releases to us at info@newjerseystage.com - for even more promotion, check out our ad rates which run $50-$100 for an entire month of targeted advertising and includes events listed in our online calendar. Or you can have your events listed in the calendar for $10 per event. Either way your events will be featured in the weekly columns. NJ Stage keeps our rates low so they are affordable to arts organizations of all sizes.
