Wednesday, September 27, 2023 - Count Basie Center for the Arts presents Brian Setzer on September 27th. (RED BANK, NJ) -- Iconic guitarist, songwriter, vocalist and 3-time Grammy award-winner Brian Setzer has confirmed a 12-date fall tour coinciding with a new solo album due in the upcoming months via Surfdog Records--more details coming soon. Marking his first live shows in over four years, the "ROCKABILLY RIOT" tour will kick off Wednesday, September 27 at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, NJ and includes stops in Nashville, TN (at the historic Ryman Auditorium), Foxwoods Casino, Cincinnati, Chicago (Waukegan) and others before wrapping in Minneapolis (his adopted hometown).

Saturday, September 30, 2023 - Count Basie Center for the Arts presents Buddy Guy – Damn Right Farewell. (RED BANK, NJ) -- Count Basie Center for the Arts presents Buddy Guy – Damn Right Farewell on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 8:00pm. At age 86, Buddy Guy is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a major influence on rock titans like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, a pioneer of Chicago's fabled West Side sound, and a living link to the city’s halcyon days of electric blues. Special guest Bobby Rush will open the night.

Saturday, September 30, 2023 - ROCC FEST IV features Jazz Gospel Concert by Alvester Garnett's Artworks Ensemble. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Roseville Outreach Community Corp. (R.O.C.C.) presents ROCC FEST IV on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Roseville Presbyterian Church (36 Roseville Avenue) in Newark, NJ. This year's theme is "Living out Loud, Celebrate the Rhythm of the Drum" and features a jazz gospel concert by Alvester Garnett & Alvester Garnett's Artworks Ensemble following a student workshop.

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents Yes: Classic Tales of Yes with Special Guest Roger Dean on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 8:00pm. Formed in 1968 by Jon Anderson and the late, and much-missed, Chris Squire, YES have been one of the most innovative, influential and best-loved bands in rock music history.

The band is still making new music and touring with the same spirit of independence that started it all over three decades ago and credit their success to the unwavering support of their fans. Wednesday, September 27, 2023 - Newark Arts Festival 2023 To Celebrate 50 Years Of Hip Hop And Cross Cultural Perspectives. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop, with celebrations planned nationwide. Keeping the momentum going this fall is New Jersey's largest city, as the Newark Arts Festival (NAF) 2023 will feature arts and culture events spanning all five wards of Newark from Wednesday, September 27 through Sunday, October 1. The free four-day festival is produced by Newark Arts in association with The Newark Museum of Art and is expected to attract thousands of artists, collectors, aficionados, and creatives.

Thursday, September 28, 2023 - Middlesex County Debuts Cross Community Jazz Festival. It's September. The trees are losing their leaves. The temperature is dropping. The season of enjoying outdoor music performances is wrapping up. And we are reluctantly stashing our beach chairs in the garage for another year.

Thursday, September 28, 2023 - Debonair Music Hall presents A Night of Prog: Joe Deninzon & Stratospheerius; We Came From Space. (TEANECK, NJ) -- Debonair Music Hall presents A Night of Prog with Joe Deninzon & Stratospheerius and Pennsylvania's We Came From Space on September 28, 2023. Long a favorite on the Country and Folk music scene in NJ and PA, after 15 years Michael Patrick finally decided to quit his day job to follow his musical passion full- time. Crossing Bridges, Patrick's 6th album tells the tale of taking the big leaps in life into the promise that lies ahead. With songs like "Richest Person in the Graveyard," Patrick shows he's got a new outlook on life and music.

Saturday, September 30, 2023 - Solar Federation Brings RUSH Tribute Show to Sherman Theater. (STROUDSBURG, PA) -- Solar Federation will take the stage at the Sherman Theater on Friday, September 30, playing the classic rock music of RUSH.  Peace of Mind, the Boston Experience will open the show at 8:00pm.

Saturday, September 30, 2023 - The Newton Theatre presents John Hiatt. (NEWTON, NJ) -- The Newton Theatre presents John Hiatt on Saturday, September 30, 2023. A master lyricist and satirical storyteller, Hiatt delivers songs filled with tales of redemption, relationships and surrendering on his own terms. Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 8:00pm.

Saturday, September 30, 2023 - Lizzie Rose Music Room presents Kiss The Sky. (TUCKERTON, NJ) -- The Lizzie Rose Music Room presents Kiss The Sky, the World's Greatest Jimi Hendrix Tribute, on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 7:30pm. Kiss The Sky meticulously recreates Jimi Hendrix's most iconic concert moments in detail with replica wardrobe, gear and sound. On September 30th, they will pay homage to one of Hendrix's final shows at the Isle of Wight Festival - Cry Of Love Tour 1970.

Sunday, October 1, 2023 - NJPAC presents Monica on October 1st. (NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents R&B sensation Monica with her 'Code Red Experience' Tour on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 7:00pm. Monica first rose to prominence in the 1990s with hits like "Don't Take It Personal" and "Before You Walk Out of My Life." Since then, she has continued to release chart-topping albums and singles, earning her multiple awards and accolades. Wé McDonald will open the night.

Sunday, October 1, 2023 - American Idol finalist Wé Ani to Open for Monica at NJPAC. (NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) is excited to announce that New Jersey's own Wé Ani, who became this year's season American Idol finalist, will perform her new single, "Mr. Montgomery" along with belting out other popular songs on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at 7:00pm in Prudential Hall opening up for R&B songstress, Monica.

Sunday, October 1, 2023 - Cathedral Arts Series Welcomes Pianist Richard C. Alston in Performance of Selections by Composers of African Descent. (TRENTON, NJ) -- On Sunday, October 1, 2023 at 3:00pm, Richard C. Alston, Pianist will present a range of works by a variety of composers of African heritage at Trinity Cathedral in Trenton. Entitled "Classically Black", the concert features selections of Nathaniel Dett, William Grant Still, Florence Price, Joseph Bologne—Chevalier de Saint-George, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and others.

Monday, October 2, 2023 - Lyle Lovett and Chris Isaak to Perform at Scottish Rite Auditorium. (COLLINGSWOOD, NJ) -- Four-time Grammy Award-winning singer, composer and actor Lyle Lovett's fall tour, which kicks off at New York's Carnegie Hall, comes to the Scottish Rite Auditorium in Collingswood on Saturday, October 7th. Chris Isaak is also on the bill. Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 8:00pm.
