The Sieminski Theater presents Troubadours: A Carole King & James Taylor Tribute

(BASKING RIDGE, NJ) -- The Sieminski Theater presents Troubadours: A Carole King & James Taylor Tribute on Saturday, June 24 at 7:30pm. Troubadours provide an enchanting evening celebrating the music of Carole King and James Taylor. Music is brought to you by two bands joining together for an unforgettable performance: Home Again – A Tribute to the Music of Carole King, and Steamroller – The Music of James Taylor.

Home Again is a true celebration of Carole King’s anthology and captures the “Beautiful” spirit of a unique time in music history. Deb De Lucca, joined by her band of seasoned musicians, takes the audience on a journey through the vast catalogue of Carole King’s own recorded hit songs and songs she wrote for other artists.

“I am so happy to be paying a tribute to one of my first & most cherished musical memories…. Carole King!  Tapestry was a constant on our turntable.  Thanks Mom!  I have always gone back to Carole’s repertoire…over and over…. year after year as the songs never lose their impact nor do they ever age,” she said.

Steamroller is a masterful tribute to the music of James Taylor. Sam Hyman’s uncanny resemblance to James and his astonishing capture of Taylor’s vocal and guitar styles leaves audiences feeling like they are seeing and hearing the legend himself and applauding for more.

“There is something about every one of James Taylor’s songs that touches me in some way.  He is a master singer/songwriter, musician, and storyteller, and I am both humbled and honored to be paying tribute to the man and his music.”

The Newton Theatre presents Jim Messina

(NEWTON, NJ) -- Few musical artists résumés list membership in a band inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; fewer still can lay claim to being a founding member of the seminal band credited with creating Country Rock; and only one artist can include all the above in addition to being one half of the most successful duos of the 1970s: Jim Messina. He's been a member of Buffalo Springfield and would go on to form the band Poco and then Loggins & Messina with Kenny Loggins.
