(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- The Nimbus Rose Gala: A Fundraiser for Nimbus' Artistic & Educational Programs will take place on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 7:00pm. The evening will honor the contributions of Sam Pesin (Friends of Liberty State Park), Annette Chaparro (NJ State Assembly and Arts Advocate) & Cristina Marte (Arts Educator and Advocate).
This will be an elegant affair with drinks, light bites, good company, silent and live auctions, & of course, plenty of dancing! Nimbus dancers highlight the evening with a preview of The New Tide, by Dawn Marie Bazemore, featuring photographs by Gordon Parks and the music of Sam Cooke; and an excerpt from Artistic Director Samuel Pott acclaimed Spring, set to Aaron Copland's Appalachian Spring.
