
(MADISON, NJ) -- On Saturday, May 16, 2026, The Masterwork Chorus presents An American Tapestry at The Concert Hall at Drew University. This is a musical journey through 250 years of Americana celebrating the the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Showtime is 7:30pm.
From the rich traditions of indigenous music to the vibrant sounds of jazz, gospel, and Shaker hymns. Through contemporary voices like Aaron Copland and Bob Dylan this performance celebrates the diversity and depth of our nation's musical heritage. With orchestra, chorus, and a wide-ranging repertoire that spans folk to patriotic favorites, this concert promises to be both moving and inspirational.
The conductor is Martin Sedek. The performance will run 90 minutes.

The Masterwork Chorus has over 100 voices. Founded in 1955, the mission is simple, direct and meaningful. The non-profit chorus is dedicated to enrich, delight and support the cultural life of the community through high-quality inspiring choral performances.
