(ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- The Elisabeth Morrow School in Englewood has been recognized as an Apple Distinguished School for 2022–2025 for its use of technology to enhance children’s learning through hands-on projects with real-world connections.

The school’s exemplary STEAM curriculum features innovative programming in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics and features dedicated spaces — Exploration Alley (2-year-olds through kindergarten), Innovation Alley (first through fourth grades), and Innovation Studios (fifth through eighth grades) — to empower the next generation of designers, entrepreneurs, and inventors. Students at The Elisabeth Morrow School are immersed in a curriculum that integrates new technologies. They create silhouettes, an 18th-century art form, with 21st-century technology tools, including iPad and MacBook. They explore Greek myths by creating projects with Apple’s iMovie and GarageBand. They conceptualize audio and visual elements connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals that they place and code in a virtual environment using Apple products.

The Elisabeth Morrow School is an independent day school serving children ages 2 through eighth grade from more than 55 communities throughout New Jersey and New York.
