The Adelphi Orchestra Announces 71st Concert Season

(RIVER EDGE, NJ) -- The Adelphi Orchestra, Bergen County's only professional orchestra, led by Principal Conductor Kyunghun Kim, has announcesd its 71st anniversary concert season. Featuring six diverse and captivating concerts, this season promises an exhilarating journey into the world of classical music.

Highlighting timeless classics, undiscovered gems, and vibrant young soloists, our season welcomes classical music enthusiasts, families, and children. With a diverse repertoire, we promise captivating and unforgettable experiences for all.

Concert Lineup - Concerts will also be livestreamed from Broadway Presbyterian Church.

Heroic Echoes - Performances on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 2:00pm, Broadway Presbyterian Church; and Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 7:30pm, Fair Lawn Community Center Theater

Program includes: Wagner: Waldweben (Forest Murmurs); Wagner: Wesendonck Lieder | Featuring Shanley Horvitz (Soprano); Beethoven: Symphony No. 3 "Eroica"

Shostakovich @ 150 - Performances on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 2:00pm, Broadway Presbyterian Church; and Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 2:00pm, Fair Lawn Community Center

The Adelphi Orchestra is a professional, non-profit orchestra renowned for its symphonic, chamber, operatic, choral, and dance concerts under the baton of Principal Conductor Maestro Kyunghun Kim. Over the past 21 years, the orchestra has hosted the Young Artist Competition and Young Artist Concerts, supporting young talent throughout New Jersey and the New York metropolitan area. The Adelphi Orchestra regularly presents concerts featuring accomplished national and international guest soloists.

A finalist in the Jersey Arts People's Choice Award for the Favorite Orchestra/Symphony Division for six years, the Adelphi Orchestra is a proud member of the League of Orchestras and Opera America. Standing as one of northern New Jersey's longest continuously performing orchestras and an integral part of the state's cultural community, the Adelphi Orchestra continues to inspire and delight audiences.

An Interview with Tim Palmieri of Lotus

Lotus was founded between 1998-1999 at Goshen College in Goshen, IN. Now based out of Dever, Colorado and Philadelphia, PA primarily, Lotus continues to bloom as a premiere jamtronica band for over the past 25 years. In 2021, founding member and longtime guitarist, Micheal Rempel left Lotus ushering in new guitarist, Tim Palmieri.

(RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ) -- County Executive Jim Tedesco, the County Board of Commissioners, and the County Parks Department are excited to announce the full schedule for Bergen County's 2nd Annual Star-Spangled Spectacular on July 4, 2025 in Overpeck County Park. Musical groups Super Trans Am, Glenn Roberts Country Band, and Tempo Alegre will take the stage ahead of a performance from the New Jersey Wind Symphony.

In honor of this historic milestone, join us for Anne and Ridley Enslow's "Music of the American Revolution" at the Ocean County Library Brick Branch on Saturday, July 5, 2025. The event begins at 2:00pm.

Count Basie Center for the Arts presents Graham Nash

(RED BANK, NJ) -- Graham Nash, two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and founding member of both the Hollies and Crosby, Stills & Nash, will perform at Count Basie Center for the Arts on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Nash will be joined on stage by Todd Caldwell (keyboards and vocals), Adam Minkoff (bass, drums, guitars and vocals) and Zach Djanikian (guitars, mandolin, drums and vocals), performing favorites from across his sixty-year career. Showtime is 7:30pm.

bergenPAC presents Straight No Chaser - Summer: The 90's Part 2

(ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- After a totally fly 2024 summer tour packed full of 90s boy band, pop, and R&B hits, RIAA-certified Gold a cappella group Straight No Chaser is back by popular demand with "Straight No Chaser Summer: 90s Part 2." The tour comes to Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) on Thursday, July 8, 2025 at 7:00pm.
