(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- Telegraph Hill Records (THR) has announced the launch of Telegraph Hill Radio and its live show "Sounds of Asbury Park, Jersey Shore & more!" on Radio Garden State. Set to premiere formally in September, the show promises to be more than just a playlist—it's a deep dive into the heart of the Jersey Shore's current musical scene and its heritage.
Listeners can expect diverse music programming, interviews, insider perspectives, and rare and unreleased recordings from Telegraph Hill Record's extensive archives. It will air Sunday evenings from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and can be accessed via their website: telegraphhillrecords.com/radio or radiogardenstate.com.
The preview episode will air on August 18 and be encored on August 26; then it goes live each week starting September 1.
The show will be co-hosted by two passionate advocates of the Jersey Shore music scene: Joe "Pom" Pomarico and Melissa Peterson.
Joe Pomarico is a driving force behind Telegraph Hill Records and a cornerstone of the Asbury Park music community. As co-founder and producer of Telegraph Hill Records, Joe has been instrumental in supporting and developing the careers of countless local artists. His industry expertise extends beyond the Jersey Shore—Joe is a member of the Recording Academy and serves as the Senior Engineer/Producer at Atlantic Records' NYC Recording Studio, where he has worked on Grammy-winning, platinum-certified records.
Melissa Peterson brings a lifetime of music fandom and industry experience to "Asbury Sound Sessions." Melissa's love for the music dates back to the days when Asbury Park was still a hidden gem for only die-hard fans. Her work with Telegraph Hill, the Asbury Park Music Foundation, and Divvy Music shapes her expertise and reflects her dedication to promoting independent artists.
