(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Shakespeare 70 presents Arms and the Man by George Bernard Shaw weekends from January 16-25, 2026 at the Kelsey Theatre. One of Shaw's most enduringly popular comedies follows a hunted soldier who, seeking refuge in a young lady’s boudoir, starts in motion a series of unlikely comedic events.
His unusual philosophies about life in general open up a world of thought she’s never previously entertained- certainly not with her dashing war-hero fiancée who also arrives unexpectedly.
This early work of Shaw’s is a sparkling examination of romance, sex, love, political maneuverings, war hope, and ... chocolate!
The cast includes Maggie Gronenthal (Raina), Ray Fallon (Bluntschli), Tristan Takacs (Sergius), Laura McWater (Catherine), Katherine Kahrs (Louka), Frank Ferrara (Major Petkoff), and Dia O’Carroll (Nicola).
Performances take place Friday, January 16 at 8:00pm; Saturday, January 17 at 8:00pm; Sunday, January 18 at 2:00pm; Friday, January 23 at 8:00pm; Saturday, January 24 at 2:00pm; and Sunday, January 25 at 2:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. The Kelsey Theatre is located at 1200 Old Trenton Road in West Windsor, New Jersey.
