originally published: 01/24/2022

(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg will present a limited, in-person season this winter and spring, designed to entertain audiences of all ages. The three, live productions offer a variety of performance styles and genres, ranging from traditional and contemporary Irish tunes, to hilarious comedy and astonishing juggling, to powerful renditions of great soul music.

“Welcome back to RVCCArts! We are thrilled to announce a limited season starting in February with three events, featuring talented professional artists, that offer something for everyone. We look forward to seeing you back at RVCCArts—the performing arts center in your backyard,” said Jill Erwin, RVCC Director of Theater and Conference Services.

The following shows, recommended for audience members age five and older, have been scheduled this season:

Danú: St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, Friday, February 18 at 8:00pm; Tickets are $30-$40 - Hailing from historic County Waterford, Danú is one of today’s leading, traditional Irish ensembles. The artists’ standing-room-only concerts throughout Ireland are true events featuring high-energy performances and a glorious mix of ancient Irish music and new repertoire.

The Flying Karamazov Brothers: 4Play, Friday, March 11 at 7:00pm; Tickets are $30-$40 - Expect the unexpected with The Flying Karamazov Brothers. The four, self-proclaimed eccentric “lunatics” spice things up with a zany showcase filled with laugh-out-loud comedy, wild theatrics, and astonishing juggling feats. The group’s most popular show, 4Play, has entertained audiences throughout the world.
