RVCC Chorale to Perform Annual Holiday Concert on Sunday

(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- The RVCC Chorale will present its annual holiday concert on Sunday, December 10, 2023 in the Welpe Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College’s Branchburg campus. The program will feature the Deutsche Messe, D. 872, by Franz Schubert, as well as music by Hans Leo Hassler, Mateo Flecha, and Leroy Anderson. The concert will include an audience singalong of traditional carols. Showtime is 3:00pm.

Directed by Dr. John Sichel, RVCC Professor of Music, the RVCC Chorale is composed of students, former students, and members of the community. The holiday concert’s performers include Eleni Catanzaro, Alissa Delgado, Mckenzie Miller, Celeste Onka, and Barbara Porter, sopranos; Roberta Caswell, Mabel Cesario, Ruth Dilley, Jennifer Kapoian, Samantha Palmieri, Jane Sausanavage, Carolina Silva, and Kathleen Strong, altos; Michael Cadwallader, Zoey Lefkin, and John Ruggiero, tenors; and basses Jimmy Collins, Ryder Doty, Derek Krasnanski, and Ellyot Paredes Cruz. Abraham Alinea is the Chorale’s pianist and, for this concert, the ensemble will be joined by flutists Alissa Delgado and Katsumi Gualtieri.

General admission tickets cost $12 per person, $8 for students and seniors. Tickets may be purchased at the door on the night of the concert or in advance from the Theatre Box Office, 908-725-3420. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday, from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) is located at 118 Lamington Road in Branchburg, New Jersey.
