Prudential Center Named #5 Highest Grossing Venue Worldwide by Billboard

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Prudential Center announced that it was named the number five highest grossing 15,001+ capacity venue in the world by Billboard's year end rankings. The Rock finished number eight in the same year end rankings by Pollstar. This marks the second straight year that Prudential Center has finished in the top ten worldwide rankings for both Billboard and Pollstar.

For the banner year of 2023, superstars and legends including Marc Anthony, Carrie Underwood, John Mayer, Rauw Alejandro, NCT Dream, Eagles (3 times), Adam Sandler, Bruce Springsteen, SUGA, Bill Burr, Misfits, Marco Antonio Solis, SZA, Ms. Lauryn Hill, ENHYPEN (2 times), Luis Miguel, MANA, The 1975, Romeo Santos, Christian Nodal, Doja Cat, Jonas Brothers (2 times) and many more have all sold out Prudential Center.

In 2023, Prudential Center set a venue record by hosting 58 concerts among over 200 special events and home games for the New Jersey Devils and Seton Hall University’s NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball program.

Prudential Center will continue to offer arguably the most diverse programing in the world, heading into 2024 the current events lineup includes, Nate Bargatze, Michael B. Jordan’s Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic, Marc Anthony, Don Omar, Zach Bryan, Nicki Minaj, IVE, Kane Brown, Avenged Sevenfold, Dan + Shay, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and many more with additional announcements to come.

Separately, Prudential Center’s sister venue in Jersey City, White Eagle Hall, also had a banner year for 2023. The venue Hall hosted a record setting 127 shows including 32 events over October and November, making it the busiest two month span on record for the venue.

White Eagle Hall also hosted an extremely diverse range of events, in 2023 programming included soul, Latin, indie-rock, punk, alternative, family, film screenings, author events, dance parties, comedy, jazz, Indian music, hop-hop, podcasts, EDM, K-Pop, metal, Americana, singer-songwriter, reggae, and more.

Sold out shows this year at White Eagle Hall included Jeff Tweedy, Nick Lowe, The Japanese House, The Gaslight Anthem, Guided By Voices, The Hold Steady, Sarah Sherman, Kurt Vile, Yo La Tengo, Lucky Moon Zooz, Gorilla Biscuits, Sullivan King, Kyle Kinane, Lucius, Guster, Bayside, Angel Olsen, Bob Mould, and more.

Prudential Center is the world-class sports and entertainment venue located in downtown Newark, New Jersey.
