(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Here is a look at the events in the Princeton Public Library in January. A wide variety of events include political correspondents talking about recent elections, storytime, book groups, movies, technology classes, job seekers sessions, and more.

Steve Kornacki - Tuesday, January 10, 7:00pm. NBC News national political correspondent Steve Kornacki talks with Ingrid Reed about what can be learned from the 2022 elections and what might happen in 2023. Registration required. Community Room and virtual.

Yolonda Jordan - Thursday, January 19, 7:00pm. Library staff member Cassie Smith joins Yolonda Jordan in a virtual discussion from the library's Newsroom where examples of dolls made from Jordan's patterns will be on display and attendees can meet others who crochet. Registration is not required to attend the Newsroom event. Please register to attend via Zoom.

Fiction Book Group - Thursday, January 12, 10:30am. The group discusses “Trust” by Hernan Diaz.

Black Voices Book Group - Thursday, January 12, 7:15pm. The group discusses "The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America" by Richard Rothstein. Via Google Meet. See events calendar for link.

Sensory Storytime - Monday, January 9, 10:30am. This program for children ages 2 and older is especially welcoming to those who are differently abled, on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing issues or feel overwhelmed by noises or crowds. Registration is required and limited. Story Room

Drop-in Chess Sessions - Saturday, January 7, 21, 3:00pm-4:30pm. For children in grades 2-6. Story Room

Teens: Writers Circle for Middle Grade Students - Wednesday, January 11, January 25, 4:30pm. In this six-week workshop, aspiring writers in firth to eighth grade take part in creative exercises inspired by popular middle grade novels. Registration required. STEAM Studio
