
(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Pioneer Productions presents Steel Magnolias across two weekends from November 14-23, 2024 at The Stage at Fellowship Hall in the Morristown United Methodist Church. The timeless classic by Robert Harling is set in a small-town Louisiana beauty salon.
Made famous by the 1989 film of the same name, the story follows a close-knit group of friends as they navigate life's joys and sorrows with wit, warmth, and unwavering support for one another. With its rich dialogue, unforgettable characters, and emotional depth, Steel Magnolias is a powerful tribute to friendship, love, and the enduring spirit of community.
The production is directed by Tom Olori and Miriam Salerno. The cast includes Angeline Wedemeier (Shelby), Shanna Levine Phelps (M'Lynn), Emilie Farrell (Truvy), Luana Cook Scott (Clairee), Gabrielle Visser Trumbull (Ouiser), and Tristen DeChiara (Annelle).
Performances take place Friday, November 14 at 8:00pm; Saturday, November 15 at 8:00pm; Sunday, November 16 at 3:00pm; Friday, November 21 at 8:00pm; Saturday, November 22 at 8:00pm; and Sunday, November 23 at 3:00pm. Tickets are $25 for General Admission and $30 for VIP seating. Tickets are available for purchase online.
The Stage at Fellowship Hall (Morristown United Methodist Church) is located at 50 South Park Place in Morristown, New Jersey.
