
New Jersey's own George Clinton - the "Godfather of Funk" returned to the Garden State on March 18th for a performance at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) with Parliament-Funkadelic and a celebration of his 80th birthday. Photographer John Posada was on hand to take some shots.
Clinton, one of the foremost innovators of ‘70s funk, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997, and received a much-deserved GRAMMY® Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019. With a career spanning five decades, three dozen albums and sweeping musical influence, George Clinton keeps on rocking.
