(RINGOES, NJ) -- Old York Cellars is bringing the laughs back to Hunterdon County as the award-winning winery kicks off the 11th season of its popular Wine & Comedy Nights. The popular event pairs nationally touring stand-up comedians with Old York Cellars wines and chef-driven cuisine in an intimate setting inside the winery's heated vineyard tent.
Held two Saturdays each month from April through November, Wine & Comedy Nights have built a loyal following and regularly sell out. Drawing guests from across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York, it's a night that blends professional comedy with a relaxed winery experience.
Each show features a different rotating headliner, drawing from comedians who regularly perform in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, and New York City, many with television credits and stand-up specials. The season opens on April 11th with Philadelphia-based comedian Chris Coccia, known for his sharp crowd interaction and national club appearances, followed on April 25 by Chris Monty, a longtime winery favorite whose credits include an Amazon Prime stand-up special and numerous television appearances.
Wine & Comedy Nights are hosted by Helene Angley, a Mercer County–based comedian who performs regularly at comedy clubs nationwide and on cruise ships around the world. Angley also books local featured and opening comics to round out each show.
"Wine & Comedy helped shape how we think about experiences at the winery," said David Wolin, Owner of Old York Cellars. "Guests come here for well-made wines, thoughtful food pairings, and experiences they can build a visit around - from the Hunterdon Wine Express to our chef-curated wine pairing dinners and our Cabana Village."
