(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre presents Deathtrap weekends from September 26 through October 12, 2025. One of the biggest hits on Broadway, nominated for four Tony Awards including Best Play, the comic thriller Deathtrap elicits shrieks of pure terror and laughter.
Deathtrap is the story of a failing playwright, a disciple destined for Broadway fame, and a disapproving wife with “strong scruples and a weak heart.” Playwright Ira Levin takes the basic murder mystery elements and rearranges them again and again in a plot with “more twists and turns than a slalom race.”
MMT’s production has direction by Jonathan Wierzbicki, scenic design by McAfee Madding, costume design by Jordan Brennan, lighting design by Chris Cichon, and sound design by Nick Bates. The cast includes Jim Morris (Sidney Bruhl), Karen Cameron (Myra Bruhl), Nicholas Kianka (Clifford Anderson), Juliet Hommes (Helga ten Dorp), and Roger Madding (Porter Milgrim).
Deathtrap is a limited engagement of 12 performances only from September 26 through October 12 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays at 3:00pm. Tickets are $32 for adults ($30 for students, seniors, and military) and are available for purchase online, in person at the box office, or by calling 609.397.3337.
