As Wiser Time, Jersey Shore singer-songwriter Carmen Sclafani has released the latest single from this forthcoming “All Fired Up” EP.
The inspiring title track is the Makin Waves Song of the Week.
As the Makin Waves Song of the Week, “All Fired Up” also can be heard between 6 and 8 p.m. on Jan. 12 on “Radio Jersey” at ThePenguinRocks.com. If you miss it, you can tune in any time in the archives at The Penguinand MixCloud.
“I'm one of those kinds of artists who writes a good amount of songs as ways to talk about things that are happening around us, in what would be considered a ‘folk’ way,” Carmen said. “Some of my stuff is just fun rock ‘n’ roll, but a lot has a deeper layer to it. ‘All Fired Up’ is one of those songs, and I think that it resonates right now.”
Recorded by Tom Camuso at his Studio E in Brooklyn, “All Fired Up” features bassist Andy Hess, drummer Steve Decker, and keyboardist Rob Clores.
Having released five LPs and an EP since 2006, Wiser Time will drop the “All Fired Up” EP in the spring. The title track single was preceded by “Hanging Around,” one of those fun rock ‘n’ roll turns of the rootsy variety.
Wiser Time will announce solo and band shows soon. Dates and other news will be announced at https://wisertimemusic.com.
