July Events at MPAC: Summer concerts, free summer events and movies

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Summertime is fun time at Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC), with a lineup of concerts, dance parties and movies, ranging from Night Ranger to Wonka.

Ticketed MPAC events:

Sunday, July 14 at 7:30pm - Night Ranger: Live in Concert. With more than 17 million albums sold worldwide, Night Ranger (“Sister Christian”) has both epitomized and transcended the arena rock sound and style since arriving in the scene in the 1980s. Tickets range from $39-$79.

Tuesday, July 16 at 7:30pm - Justin Hayward & Christopher Cross. A double bill featuring two of music’s most iconic voices!  Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Justin Hayward is best-known as the long-time vocalist, lead guitarist and composer for The Moody Blues. Five-time Grammy winner Christopher Cross has sold over 10 million albums and his top ten hits include such classics as “Sailing” and “Ride Like the Wind.” Tickets range from $59-$129.

Wednesday, July 17 at 8:00pm - Yächtley Crew. The ships-ahoy septet Yächtley Crew sets sail for an evening of the best in the Yacht Rock sound, featuring all of your favorite soft rock hits from the 70s and 80s. Come ready to party! Tickets range from $39-$59.

Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 7:30pm - It’s Happening with Snooki & Joey LiveYour girl, Snooki, is here to spill the tea with her best squirrel friend, Joey Camasta! These hot messes will be talking celeb gossip, hot topics, and, of course, getting WAY TOO personal! If you are a fan of humor, gossip, and pop culture commentary, then It’s Happening with Snooki & Joey Live is what you’re looking for. Tickets range from $39-$69; $125 (includes meet and greet).

Wednesday, July 10 at 6:00pm - Bollywood Dance Bash with DJ Arjun; Location: Pioneer Park. Born in Mumbai, DJ Arjun is known for his Bollywood and Top 40 dance music mix, infusing his events with energy and enthusiasm that captivates the dance floor! Featuring Indian dance instruction from B2Z Dance School and henna tattoo artist Mehndikalogie.



Wednesday, July 24 at 6:00pm - Salsa at Sunset with DJ KD; Location: Pioneer Park. MPAC’s popular salsa dancing event returns featuring DJ KD providing the spirited sounds of salsa, merengue and more. Dance instruction from Daniel Herrera and Dreams Dance Studio.



MPAC Free Movies  (ticket reservations will begin in July)

Tuesday, July 30 at 10:30am - Wonka. This fantasy musical based on the character from Roald Dahl's novel follows young Willy Wonka as he sets off on his dream to become the greatest chocolatier of all time. Timothée Chalamet stars. PG.

Tuesday, July 30 at 7:00pm - Barbie. Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling star in this blockbuster that finds Barbie and Ken leaving the seemingly perfect world of Barbie Land to discover the joys and perils of the real world.  PG-13.

Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) is located at 100 South Street in Morristown, New Jersey. (BARNEGAT TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- Many storied sea tragedies have unfolded off the New Jersey coast, but few are as unique as the 1884 sinking of a sleek cargo carrier and the loss of its entire crew. Join historian and diver Dan Lieb for "The Tragedy of the Schooner, John K. Shaw" at the Ocean County Library Barnegat Branch on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. The event begins at 7:00pm.
