Holiday Giving Event Celebrates Frank Sinatra with $20 Ticket Prices

(AVON-BY-THE-SEA, NJ) -- Karen Morris of Sand Castle Communications, presenter of the special event Jolly Sinatra: Birthday and Holiday Giving Event, has considerably lowered the show ticket price to just $20 per person. This ws done as an incentive for all who attend to donate savings (due to the reduced ticket price) to their favorite charity, or hers, The Virtual Toy Drive at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital (BMSCH), part of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and RWJ Barnabas Health.

The swingin’ music/talk show, Jolly Sinatra: Birthday and Holiday Giving Event, will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023,  from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, indoors at the Avon Marina Building,  2 Main Street, Avon-By-The-Sea, NJ.

As a special request, Ms. Morris is asking all event guests, in the spirit of the season, to consider giving to their favorite cause, or hers, which is the Virtual Toy Drive at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital (BMSCH), part of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and RWJ Barnabas Health. There are two ways to give. Either donate a hospital-approved toy or book/game gift to their virtual toy drive, by browsing via their Amazon Wish List. Or donate funds to the Virtual Toy Drive which allows BMSCH to supply their patients with age and developmentally appropriate toys as needed.

Musical icon Frank Sinatra was born December 12, 1915 and passed on May 14, 1998, and is regarded as one of the most popular, influential vocalists of the twentieth century. This birthday celebration program will spotlight the artistry of Mr. Sinatra, featuring a talk/discussion by Sinatra Scholar, Chuck Granata. Mr. Granata points out in a recent interview (posted on All About Jazz) "Frank had a great "ear.” And this was natural. This is something that came from God, really. It was a talent.

"He had a great ear, and without much musical training, he was able to take what he heard, and create something vocally that was different, and in the process become one of the most unique and preeminent vocalists of the 20th Century, in terms of pop and jazz music."

Charles L. “Chuck” Granata is a leading expert on Frank Sinatra, a writer, record producer, music historian and archivist.

Mr. Granata is the author of 4 books, including the award-winning book Sessions with Sinatra: Frank Sinatra and the Art of Recording, as well as producer of Nancy Sinatra's program "Nancy for Frank" on Sirius-XM radio.

In addition to the Sinatra talk/discussion, vocalist Zack Alexander, a sensational and talented crooner, will dazzle the crowd and perform a marvelous mix of holiday and classic Sinatra tunes. Popular Christmas melodies, including seasonal favorites such as White Christmas, Let it Snow! and Happy Holiday, are part of the warm-hearted repertoire.

A mysterious celebrity special guest will also be making a surprise  appearance to meet, greet and welcome all attendees!

Soft drinks and sweet snacks will be served. The venue allows a BYOB, so a toast to the 108th heavenly birthday of Frank Sinatra is possible for those who bring their own alcoholic beverage of choice to the event.

Free event parking will be available at 2 Main Street, Avon-By-The-Sea, NJ or if lot is filled, free parking also at 43 Main Street, Avon-By-The-Sea, NJ.

Advance tickets are required to attend the event. Tickets are on sale now. For code number and ticket info, contact Karen Morris at  sand3737@gmail.com
