
(HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- The Camden County Board of Commissioners, along with Haddon Township, invites residents and visitors to the fourth annual String Band Parade down Haddon Ave, featuring the Philadelphia Mummers String Bands on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
The Camden County String Band Parade will showcase the sights and sounds of beloved Philadelphia Mummers string bands as they march along Haddon Avenue from Crystal Lake to Haddon Square. Spectators are encouraged to line the route and enjoy performances at designated viewing areas throughout the parade.
Starting at 4:00pm, string bands will begin their march, creating a lively spring celebration for the community. Viewing performance areas along the route includes: Brewers Towne Tavern, Reunion Hall, The Pour House, and Haddon Square.
Following the parade, attendees are invited to continue the celebration at an after-party at Haddon Square from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. The after party will feature live music from The Exceptions, along with food, drinks, and activities for all ages.
Hosted by the Board of Commissioners and Haddon Township, the event continues to serve as a highlight of the spring season, bringing together residents, local businesses, and visitors for an afternoon and evening of community entertainment.
"This has become a great tradition for Haddon Township," said Mayor Randall Teague. "It's a fun way to bring people together along Haddon Avenue, enjoy the music and energy of the Mummers, and spend time supporting our local restaurants and businesses."
